Idle Talk: Relationship of Mark and Anna
“Teacher, Japanese translation class is too boring.”
“Is it boring because you are not able to understand something?”
“No, in the first place, I’m not interested in the conversation between Mark and Anna.”
“I understand, then let’s first your translation of their conversation.”
“Mark: Was summer vacation fun?
Anna: Yeah. it was fun”
“Boring.”
“E?”
“It is not possible to be interested in this conversation. You need to think more carefully.”
“E..E..!?”
“First, why is mark using honorifics! aren’t both of them friends? mark needs to be more frank.”
“Mark: Did you enjoy your summer vacations?
Anna: Yes, it was fun”
“Naive, it is so naive.”
“Wha, What is?”
“Neither Mark nor Anna are making effort to know each others intentions.”
“probing their intentions?”
“I’ll show you a textbook example.
Mark: ha, you what did you do during summer vacations, i bet you were all alone crying somewhere, it must had been hard for you during summer vacation.
Anna: Huh!? No it’s different. i went to the summer festival with my boyfriend and was super happy. Really, it was the best time spent with him.
“Mark and Anna both have evil personalities…”
“By the way Anna likes Mark, this is from a otome game that i recently bought.”
“ANNA!!”
